There are so many reasons to love this. In a strange way it reminds me of my childhood when posing for formal photos (school photos, weddings etc.) we were told to do our "best standing up", no slouching, arms firmly by one's side. I admire anyone that still lives by that rule in adult life when presented with a camera.

I don't want to be a purist, but I have to say his early stuff is much better than this more recent commercial material which is just pandering to the masses.

Wonderful. Here's a making of for one of his other songs:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qS12Y7PQcEI&feature=related&fmt=18

containing a sequence on a beach apparently shot outside of our solar system. I don't know how he is breathing, let alone singing...

UPDATE: A caption explaining that it was shot on Phil Katt's Green Screen appears halfway through. I feel so silly!!

I've checked out some of his other songs, I quite like them! He's clearly a talented songwriter.

That is most excellent.

I am particularly impressed by his clear determination to wring every last penny from the production budget for use on special effects (moon bases etc.) and then deciding this would be complimented by singing in his Office Depot uniform. Kudos to that man.
