4 Johnny Walker July 5, 2009 at 12:16 pm: I love this show, it’s so funny. I would have loved Shakespeare to have his Stratford-upon-Avon accent, but I guess it wouldn’t have worked with the joke you’d set up. Awesome, awesome show. I hope there’s going to be more episodes!

Obviously the script is hilarious, but just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the aesthetic. Pitched somewhere between OMD’s “Dazzle Ships”, 1980s transmitter information broadcasts from Crawley Court, and slightly disturbing shortwave radio broadcasts from behind the iron curtain. Wonderful wonderful stuff.

I laughed so much it caused an incident at the gym.
14 Robert Popper July 29, 2009 at 3:20 pm: Thanks Gordon. Nice reference. I used to listen to Tirana years ago, and we tried to emulate that Radio Moscow (and therefore Tirana) style of presenting and sound to the show. Glad you liked it! Hope you still have your gym membership.
