Which is it? Worst or best? Best or worst? You decide.

I love that shit.

Is this the latest Naval tactic to get your enemy to surrender? I hear the RAF are planning an ABBA medley.

Is that… is that Brian Butterfield?

Best version of ‘Let It Be’ ever!!

Probably because of the hat-waving finish.

Tight drummer too.

How can you even ask such a question? That uniform is ripped (to which I mean handsome rather than torn). I may be wrong but I think he is trying to do the accent and love the way that Wrenski casually sways into shot at the end. Now where is my bally balalaika?

Where’s his sherry glass?

7 WestEndWookie September 25, 2009 at 2:07 pm

that is truly remarkable!!!

It’s the Russian Navy if I’m not mistaken. You aren’t allowed moustaches in the Royal Navy, and the RN don’t have Cyrillic writing on the hats either.

best. you don’t have to pronounce the words you are singing in any useful english way just belt out noise that is in tune(? honestly I don’t know if it’s in tune – but it seems fine enough)

it might also be one of the shortest (height) group beatles cover too.

At least they’re dressed in appropriate Beatles attire.

11 Jen September 25, 2009 at 3:28 pm

That was bad, just very bad. All of it. Just bad.

And err, I don’t like to mention it but, err… the singer? Does he have a large bust or am I imagining that?

It’s definitely the best. It makes you feel all warm and goo-ey inside.
Also because the worst is this:

Yes I think you are right. Your track is definitely worse. Nice one.

It’s the berst. The thing I like about the Russian Navy is that they refuse top compromise when it comes to millinery – if you’re gonna wear a stupid hat, make it MASSIVE.

15 Dave September 26, 2009 at 6:28 am

Outstanding. That is all.

I’ve just listened to Christopher’s link to the Help song by Markus. I was immediately sick all over my shoes. That really was the worst thing I’ve heard in a long time dude.

I think that a lot of alcohol went into that production.

The wavers at the front are great, almost Matthew Barney-esque, but the choir are acting like they are on an ID parade for an assault that happened down the docks.

The Markus song was like someone flicking your ears from behind, but with a cowbell.

The singer does seem like a cross between butterfield and retired boxer, Milo Kerrigan http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ryW29CNO_jw&feature=youtube_gdata

22 smallbeds October 28, 2009 at 1:01 pm

Is that… is that Brian Butterfield?
