My Uncle’s Birthday

Last year I made this call to London’s Covent Garden Hotel, but have only just got round to drawing some pics to it. I must say, it’s one of my favourite calls – mainly for the cake bit…

That hotelier (a word I have never used in my life) has to be one of the most charming, helpful chaps ever. I salute you, Sir!

Fetus cake!! Brilliant! Cooper Family Birthday song was outstanding.

Brilliant! In my country (Sweden) nobody would ever be so polite as these people that you call. Somebody would definitley give you a negative reaction. I’ll guess you brits are polite as always!

    Cheerio / Carl.

PS. I think this would be of interest to you. Some Swedish and British new-agers taking part in the weirdest martial art ever: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1NlhIuJ-y8k

    Haha, brilliant.

There was an article about this in the Metro today. I ripped it out specially, just to keep hold of it!

    Thanks so much Aislinn.

Antelope X is my favorite part

I particularly love the illustration of your swede and chocolate cake. Could I suggest adding a layer of sprout icing for your uncle’s 99th birthday? This is about the fourth time I’ve listened to this but, yet again, it’s made my morning far, far happier.

Please give the ‘Magnetic Box’ the pictorial treatment next. It physically hurts me from laughing every time I listen to it.

Awesome! Did you make it all up on the spot? Love the Torso cake. Just watched the episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm the other day with the erotic bakery that serves cakes in the shape of giant black penises, etc.

Thanks. Yes it was all improvised – hence the terribleness…
