The greatest Eminem impression of all time

by Robert Popper on November 7, 2009 · Comments

This guy made a video audition for a band, and somehow thought that this was the best way to show them his ‘talents.’ This gets super good at around 2:20 – and you just wait for his Eminem impression.

BTW – this whole clip is even more cringeable than my last post

My worst bit is when he starts whispering for no reason. That really makes me shiver. Also, was he recording this from a hospital room?

Merci to @catsbyfilms.

I don't think I can face this, the last video was about as much as I can handle.
  • No! it's gone!
  • I had to stop at 2 minutes when he said "That's it really", that was the final incentive that I needed to cease watching.

There's some things that the chap needs to work out. Away from any recording equipment, unless its being used for training purposes.

Thank you Mr. Popper for showing me the outer limits of cringe.

After watching more of this guy on youtube,he is either a comic genius,or he needs sectioning....can't wait to see Christopher Walken in 'Mind Molester' though
  • I don't think I've ever been so unhappy as I am now watching this incredible doofus. Thanks for that.

    Some observations:
    1. Anyone suffering from 'Nik Kershaw' face, with the exemption of Nik Kershaw himself, is invariably a cloying loon with an air of tragic ennui about them that is offset only by their dislikeability.
    2. Any audition taking place on a bed always makes me think "That person is less than twenty inches away from a jazz mag."
    3. On an advisory note, he very possibly could become the uber-auteur, master film director of his own musical comedy vehicle featuring music, special effects and creatures designed by his own fair hand that could kick 'Avatar's' arse. Sadly, however, he very obviously has neither the self discipline, patience or temperance to do so. Sorry.

The Robert Popper Talent Agecy portfolio goes from strength to strength.
  • I wonder if he thought long and hard about what he'd wear. "Yeah, I'll go for the faded Superman t-shirt." Not that his clothes are the most disturbing element of this because they're not.

Loving the new layout, Robert. Very, very naughty.

Christ alive I desperately want to read "Mind Molester"!

Putting things like "presents" and "a film by" on the title page of a unproduced screenplay - that's the kind of thing I stopped doing at 12! Not to mention I can see through the page that the script is completely misformatted.

My toes curled up so far that I I now have two club feet.

I like his Bruce Lee impression, at 7.12

"I'm a stay at home father"

For the love of God, somebody call the social services.
  • Wittering
    That opened my third eye.
  • Wow. I actually sat through to the end.

    Things I like:
    - The terrible Walken impersonation which slips into his Eminem rap
    - I was going to say 'The fact that he is called Brandon Reeve, and he's wearing a superman t-shirt' but then, when he shows his script, and says "that's my name, but I didn't like it, so I changed it"... tp Brandon Reeve. I wonder how many superman shirts he has... but why not change it to Walken?
    - Filming himself watching a youtube video. Quite meta.

The tour of his drawings accompanied with the singing/whispering confirmed (at least for me) that this guy has no less than 3 severed heads in his basement.
  • Jim
This bloke is a tad csary, ahve you seen his other videos? he's doing some weird Bruce Lee stuff here

    is this for real???!!?!?!!!?

It's obvious that that, is a hospital room. But not a nice NHS hospital, it's one of those, er, private ones, you kow, for, err, how do I say this in a sensitive way - FOR TOTAL NUTJOBS!!
He's right out of Cuckoo's Nest surely.

Sort of. But I can't imagine many mental wards are decorated with faux-medieval duvets.
  • PeteDreet
My favorite part is definitely when he says "I could sing Rocket Man in the style of William Shatner" but then realizes he doesn't know how so he quickly says "or maybe a little Christopher Walken".

    Oh and Mind Molester.
  • wowser808
I love the way his Chrisopher Walken somehow channels an effeminate man from Leeds.
Things get very strange around the 8 minute mark.
  • mrtommyj
worser bit-- he's very naughty.... a very very naughty person....

i love how during the eminem rap/gesturing phase of the audition he feels like he's under intense pressure and tries to make excuses to us as though by watching the video we've put him off. it was entirely his decision to record, not re-record, not edit and then publish the video online.
  • Nice!
  • I too, cannot work out just where this video was filmed, the bed seems to have some kind of metalic framing that goes nowhere. also, not enough can be said for how amazing that impression is.
