I’ve actually got Boring Postcards by all-round genius, Martin Parr. It’s one of my favourite books of all times. Recommended.

Thanks to Daniel Jones for this amazing piece of dullnessity.

Sexy. Metatron is a much better name than Enoch – for cakes see Torte Law!

Database issues in GIS actually looks interesting to me. These books fit a purpose – a tool if you will. Dan brown books on the other hand don't and really are completely boring.

Isn't the discordant music and the creepy voice remarkably similar to the creepy erotic film clip you put up a couple of months ago?
I didn't think the words 'music cognition' could be quite so terrifying.

Seconded re Boring Postcards.
That music sounds a lot like “Still Lives” for piano and sine waves by Alvin Lucier – I was at a performance of it earlier this year. A really beautiful piece.
Actually, some of the book titles looked relevant to my interests, too.
