It really is… And why all the focus on the ‘man in white?’ It’s just so brilliantly bizarre. I mean, they actually wanted their video to be…that. Thank you @edkontargyris

What is the number for 118 118?

by Robert Popper on March 23, 2010 · 4 comments

Ok – you may have heard it before but it’s never been up on my site. Here I am calling 118 118, one of the main directory assistance companies in the UK. You see, I needed to know the number of a company called, well…

I just love everything about this: the choice of music, the ‘Item Codes’, and best of all, the last two seconds when we suddenly see the shop owner. If there is a better advert to be found, well, you know what to do…

What is a Prune Slicker? Can anyone on Earth tell me? Well? Check out the lyrics here? Nice find, @stuseph

The worst interview of all time?

by Robert Popper on March 18, 2010 · 14 comments

It’s probably been seen by 50,000,000 people and pets by now, but it just keeps making me laugh. As @buxtontheblue said when she sent it to me, ‘Beware, it’s very grotty’. So, beware… Been taken off YouTube, but you can see it here.

You ALL remember this? Lori Watt’s amazing ‘Chill in my Vein’ that you ALL loved. Yes, ALL of you. Well, Leo Garcia has just made his own cover version. So, take it away, Leo… I particularly love all the out of tune singing, done in all the right places. Good work, Sir!
