I will die a happy man

Seriously. I have been trying for over a year to talk live to Archbishop Gilbert Deya on my favourite crazy channel, Deya Broadcasting Network (DBN). And not only did I talk to him, I sang to him.

If you remember, I’ve written and blogged about DBN quite a bit in the past. Anyway, here is the result. (Gilbert D is on the left).

I just love it when Deya blatantly signals for them to end the call. And they just keep me on. Everyone seemed happy in the end, though. Probably me the most.

I googled this wonderful archbishop, and the second hit was “YouTube – Archbishop Gilbert Deya – Rotten Penis/Testicles Miracle”

    “That's a man, he's only got a high voice!”
“Wonderful! What a beautiful high voice! Bless youuuuu!”
    Haha, these guys are brilliant.

Plus, what great singing. I'd love to hear Robin do some phone-in singing auditions Charlotte Church style.

I always love the awkwardness that ensues when people think Robin is a lady. Also surely this show should receive an award of some kind for most bizarre cut away.

Perhaps I know a lot of hormonally enriched gentlemen but I never quite understand why people think that Robin sounds like a woman. O wait, I just watched the end, how rude!
I agree with Mr. Deya though, Robin is an extraordinarily nice man (although I wouldn't advocate hugging angry strangers and shouting 'Jesus' no matter how nice he is)

I like the bit where AGD tunes out and starts pretending to be interested in a book, but then you get him out his moody funk. Absolutely brilliant.

Yes, that weird shot of the phone with a sort of clock on it.

This is a legendary moment in the history of televisual entertainment.

Ha ha, he couldn't give a crap until the first song started, then he was all over it like a child at Christmas! Ha ha ha!

    Nice work, as ever.
