So I’m giving you more of the legendary, Lori Watt.
By the way, you are all in for a horrible surprise towards the end. You’ll know which bit I mean when you get to it. Enjoy!
Come on then, what’s your favourite bit?

Nobody can dance on the stairs like Lori. The grey-haired guy dancing behind her at around 1:20 steals the show with his eyebrow dancing though. Is she performing in an old folks home in that bit??
My ears are crying and my brain is attempting to commit suicide. My lips are also arguing with my eyes over that snog.
I love the way she rips paper with her fists.
I had three horrible surprises near the end: the excessive snogging, the sudden appearance of Suzi Cramp and the giant pinky doll teddy. All not right.
This has affected me in a way that makes me feel like throwing up. Quite exceptional. Is she the Ed Wood of YouTube.
Key points include
- The walking down the stairs at the beginning
- the “singing”
- The keyboard player, who doesn't seem to know where he is.
- The hideous kissing. Oh the hideous kissing.
- “just another ex-boyfriend collection. UUUUUUUUUUUUUHHHHHHHH”
And so much else.
yikes!
that is all.
The bit where the guy burns his fingers with the fag. The junglist outro.
Oof, where to begin? It's all fantastic. The “dancing” at 0:31. The fact that she is performing in front of actual people at 1:11 (Retirement home? Restaurant-goers held at gunpoint? Why isn't anyone trying to escape?). The “shove-and-then-point-accusingly” moment at 1:41. And then the ten second makeout session at 2:23.
I think I only have more questions than answers after seeing more of these…
The worst was basically seeing anyone else in the video. Who are these people? The keyboardist and the make-out uncle? It's all so creepy. Also, how awkwardly she over-acts, over-enunciates, and over-walks.
Be honest, though, is this any worse than anything by Garbage? They're basically the same band.
To all the people who saw the live performance featured in the video, my deepest condolences. I can't imagine what you've been through.
The queen of the time change! 'Oooooooohhhh' And a celebrity appearance from another famous singer!!!
I think ive watched this song a million times since we all first met Lori Watt. In one of the youtube uploads someone asks for her lyrics, and she informs us that it is actually illegal to give anyone lyrics to any song. Who would have thought?! Or maybe shes been burned by the pain of song theft one too many times? (“ooooohhhhhhh”)
