I made this phone call many years ago. It’s short and sweet. And very silly.

Here’s an oldie. About 10 years ago, Nigel Pivaro – the actor who played Terry Duckworth from Coronation Street (massive British soap for all non Britishers) – was on the radio. The station was LBC, a London based talk channel, and I called in claiming to have been an extra on the show. Ahhh… what fun I had inventing all manner of rubbish…

Here’s another bit of silliness from my old LBC radio phone-in calls. This time a gardening show, in which I tried to see how long I could read from a gardening book, whilst pretending it was in the form of a question.

I remember my brother was in the room at the time, laughing, and I was finding it seriously hard to keep it all together. Hey ho!

This is a phone call I made many years ago to LBC in London. It’s one of my favourites just because it’s so gentle and basically completely pointless. The subjects up for discussion were, ‘How many hours sleep do you need each night?’ and, ‘Have you seen this terrible new logo they’ve designed for London?’

And so, as pensioner, Rose, I dialled their number. Listen out for the last sentence said by the presenter. Definitely slightly freaky…

Yes, it’s another slice of telecommunication stupidity. This time to the lovely Beverly Hills Hotel. And what a charming sales person. OK, it’s 6 minutes long, but hope you titter….

My proudest moment? ‘Scraps’.
